Indicator strips are to be placed in each pack of each sterilizer load: Strips changes the colour on correct integration of temperature, time and humidity and concentration of sterilizing agent.
- The AC 250/500 steam strip (type 4) changes colour from white to black
- The AC 6 steam strip (type 6) changes colour from green to brown
- The EO strip (type 5) changes colour from purple to green
- The PL – plasma strip (type 1) changes colour fron blue to pink
in accordance with ISO 11140-1.
